Strangely enough, I’m not someone who tends to look back. And yet, the title came to me almost instantly after I recorded the piece.
But I don’t think Remebering is simply about recalling forgotten things, nor is it about passively longing for a past that is gone. To me, it’s about the act of remembering as a way to move forward, to gain a little perspective, and to create some distance.
That’s what this piece is trying to express.
I hope it can invite you into that positive space where remembering becomes a way to create, to grow, and to move forward.
